GOAT Ronaldo Reunited With Al Nassr In Portugal After Enjoying A Summer Vacation With His Family

GOAT Ronaldo reunited with Al Nassr in Portugal after enjoying a summer vacation with his family

After spending the summer with his family, Ronaldo traveled to Portugal to catch up with Al Nassr.

Al Nassr is currently training in Portugal and recently competed in a friendly against Alverca (3rd division) (won 2-0). On July 15, they will proceed to face the team in second place, Farense. Ronaldo is likely to play in this match.

According to plan, the runner-up of the Saudi Pro League will also participate in the annual friendly tournament Algarve Trophy, facing Celta Vigo on July 17 and Benfica on July 20.

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr at the beginning of 2023 and made an instantaneous impact with 14 goals in 19 games across all competitions. Despite his efforts, the club finished second in the Saudi Arabian league and was eliminated from the cup competitions, resulting in a failed season.

At the conclusion of the season, the Al Nass board of directors appointed Luis Castro, a Portuguese strategist, as head coach on a two-year contract with a one-year extension option.

Ronaldo personally contacted Luis Castro to persuade him to accept a position at Al Nassr, according to the EPSN website. The Saudi media previously reported that CR7 was deliberating on team personnel matters, including the hiring of a new coach.

Luis Castro told the Portuguese media that he was ecstatic to work with Ronaldo: “It’s great to coach the greatest player in the world, who will go down in football history. The prospect of playing alongside Ronaldo and the other Al Nassr players excites me greatly.”
