“Because He’s the Reason..”: Mike Trout’s $350M Dream Project on Thin Ice Before Making Special Tiger Woods Confession

The last few months have been very hectic for Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout. Apart from his regular duties at the diamond and recovering from an injury, the 11 times All-Star is engaged in his dream golf course project. Trout is involved in a lot of meetings with the golf legend, Tiger Woods, to finish the delayed project worth $350 million in Vineland. Although it’s tiring, it has somehow helped Trout to find a great relationship with Woods. But it is not limited to friendship. There is a lot more to it.

The world knows about Trout’s love for golf. The baseball player is a true fanatic of the sport and loves to play the game in his free time. But given that it was not his first love, something has pulled him towards the game. Was it Tiger Woods?

Mike Trout Makes a Tiger Woods Confession as He Describes Start of His Golf Journey

When it’s not baseball, Mike Trout’s all the attention on the greens. And because of it Trout regularly plays and enjoys golf. But the story could have been different had there been no Tiger Woods to inspire Trout. Every athlete has an inspiration, and for Trout, Woods is the reason behind his golf journey.

Trout shared this on the episode of “On Base with Mookie Betts.” While talking about his relationship with Woods and his inspirational aura, Trout said, “It’s pretty special man, just to be able to talk to him, just watching him go, because he’s the reason I started golf. Just watch a tiger. I was a big Tiger fan.”

He also gave insights into his golf journey and said, “It was pretty cool because I played a lot of great golf courses. And I get to figure out like, Hey, I like this. I don’t like that. I love being out on a golf course not seeing houses.”

Trout then said that he is a big Tiger Woods fan. And added that it is only because of him that he spends time on the greens. But because of the regular baseball season, he is finding it tough to concentrate on the project, which has many challenges to counter.

Trout Reserve Faces a Test of Old Dreams

Though things are moving in the right direction for the baseball star, many things are yet to be managed. His complex is being made in the Magic Sports Complex, revealed in October 2012. According to multiple reports, the project included sporting arenas for different sports. It also included a 5-star hotel and other luxurious facilities. But the project has failed to materialize, which adds to the fear of whether Trout Reserve will face the same fate.

Though amidst all this, there is new hope for Trout. The MLB star has got approval from the planning board of the city. And with this, they have passed the first hurdle. Moreover, all the parties look energetic about the project. Because of it, one can imagine Trout Reserve to be a reality in the failed Vineland dream by 2025.
