Edurne Garcia is a Spanish singer, actress and TV presenter.

She was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 on December 22, 1985, in Madrid, Spain.

At the age of nine she was part of the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren music group Trastos.

As a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 she appeared in Spanish TV shows like Hospital Central or Ana y los 7.

Garcia took part in the fourth season of the casting show Operación Triunfo on TVE and finished in sixth place in 2006.

She signed a record deal with Sony BMG Spain soon after her elimination from the show and released her debut album Edurne in 2006.

Since the beginning of her career, she released seven albums, starred in three movies and won five awards as a singer.

Garcia was Spain’s entry at Eurovision in 2015 in Vienna and finished in 21st place, scoring 15 points for Spain.

As well as being a singer, she has been a judge on the Spanish version of Got Talent since 2015.

When did David De Gea and Edurne Garcia meet?

The couple first met in December 2010 during a recording of a Christmas carol to raise money for 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren with cancer.

They began dating shortly afterwards.

Seven months after the couple met, David De Gea signed a transfer deal to play for Manchester United for £18 million.

Garcia continued to live in Spain and made regular visits to Manchester.

However, she moved to Manchester in 2018.

The couple is set to marry on Saturday July 1, 2023 in Spain.
