After working for several years for the Jamaica Cottage Shop, carpenter and builder Greg Durocher decided to start his own tiny house business in his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood home of Townsend, Vermont. His custom designs are not only built to handle the harsh New England temperatures and weather, but they include some interesting architectural details.

Each Roll’en Homes tiny house is built on a custom trailer from a manufacturer in southern New Hampshire. Customers can then choose their interior and exterior styles of siding, flooring, appliances and cabinetry. Some fun features include arched roofs, curved staircases, and space-saving Murphy beds that tuck into the wall. The bed design even has a pop out dining table and chair set.

The homes can include custom layouts including multi-use Murphy beds.

Each home is constructed inside a former furniture company in Townsend. The building features 6,000 square feet of space as well as a woodworking area for the production of custom cabinetry and furniture production. Durocher’s designs start at about $23,000 for a basic model to about $68,000 for larger home. Roll’en Homes also offers buyers a 5-year hitch to bumper warranty. This warranty also includes a complementary annual building inspection.
