Brilliant Nigerian Lady bags bachelors degree in Accounting with 4.57 first-class, celebrates achievement

A brilliant Nigerian lady named Soliat Olabiran has graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University with a first-class degree in Accounting, earning an impressive 4.57 cumulative grade point average (CGPA).

Reflecting on her journey, Soliat shared that she started her undergraduate studies with a strong grade. In her first semester, she achieved a perfect 5.00 grade point average.

That moment filled her with excitement and confidence, and she believed it would be easy to maintain the streak but reality soon set in. However, as the semesters passed, her grades began to slip.

By her third year, she discovered that she was not even on a first-class track anymore. Soliat had been miscalculating her CGPA all along and that realization hit her hard. But instead of giving up, she doubled down.

In the second semester of her third year, she bounced back with another perfect 5.00 GPA. That turning point reignited her focus. From then on, Soliat worked harder, disciplined, working tirelessly, and keeping her goal in sight.

Her efforts paid off as she graduated with distinctions. While navigating her academic path, Soliat also became a Chartered Accountant while also juggling a business a fashion entrepreneur.

Soliat admitted that balancing all was challenging and the pressure sometimes felt overwhelming. But looking back, she says every sleepless night and every challenge was worth it.

She said her journey taught her the meaning of resilience, grit, and unwavering perseverance. To others facing their own setbacks, she urged them that they should not let their setback define them but rather remain positive and keep pushing hard.

Soliat expressed gratitude to her family, mentors, and friends for their constant support throughout her journey. Looking ahead, she is dreaming even bigger—ready to work harder, take on new challenges, and embrace all that lies ahead.
