The Quake (Norwegian: Skjelvet) is a 2018 Norwegian disaster thriller directed by John Andreas Andersen. Serving as a sequel to the 2015 film The Wave, it continues the story of geologist Kristian Eikjord, portrayed by Kristoffer Joner.
Three years after surviving the tsunami in Geiranger, Kristian is estranged from his family and grappling with the trauma of past events. When seismic activity suggests an impending earthquake in Oslo, Kristian races against time to warn the authorities and save his loved ones from a catastrophic disaster.
