Leonardo DiCaprio and renowned filmmaker, Martin Scorsese, dressed to impress as they attended the glitzy Air Mail Party during the 76th Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.
The Apple TV+ film, Killers Of The Flower Moon, which starred the Oscar winner, 48, and directed by Scorsese, 80, notably received a nine-minute standing ovation after its premiere on Saturday.
The Inception actor sported teal blue slacks along with a matching blazer for the event, and added a black button up that he chose to leave untucked for a casual flare.
He slipped into a pair of black sneakers and easily carried a black cap in his left hand while strolling through the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc where the festivities were held.
Martin also dressed for the occasion wearing a dark navy blazer along with a matching waistcoat and a crisp, white dress shirt.

The filmmaker added a light blue tie to the look and slipped into a pair of sleek, black dress shoes to complete his overall ensemble for the star-studded party.
The two stars, who have worked together on a number of projects throughout the years, were seen holding a conversation as they stopped by the event amid the annual festival, which comes to an end on May 27.
Their latest Apple TV+ film, Killers Of The Flower Moon, has received a high amount of praise and critical acclaim since its premiere at the festival on Saturday.
The project is based on a 2017 nonfiction book titled, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, written by David Grann.
Some of the star-studded cast includes Leonardo, Robert De Niro, Brendan Fraser, Lily Gladstone, and also Jesse Plemons.
The premise follows, ‘Members of the Osage tribe in the United States are murdered under mysterious circumstances in the 1920s, sparking a major F.B.I. investigation involving J. Edgar Hoover,’ according to an IMDB synopsis.
After the screening of the film at Cannes, the project garnered a whopping nine-minute standing ovation, per Variety.
Scorsese addressed the applauding crowd to express his gratitude and stated, ‘Thank you to the Osages. Everyone connected with the picture. My old pals Bob and Leo, and Jesse and Lily. We shot this a couple of years ago in Oklahoma. It’s taken its time to come around, but Apple did so great by us.’

He continued, ‘There was lots of grass. I’m a New Yorker. I was very surprised. This was an amazing experience. We lived in that world.’
The three and a half hour movie had a budget of $200 million, and notably premiered 45 minutes late at the festival on Saturday. The movie was also Martin’s first film to screen at Cannes since his 1985 project, After Hours.
The tardiness of the movie’s start did not deter the slew of positive raves, and already has a current score of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Words like ‘searing and ‘masterpiece’ were bandied about by critics who managed to get their hands on a ticket to the first screening.
IndieWire said DiCaprio gives ‘his best-ever performance’, while The Guardian awarded five stars for a ‘remarkable epic about the bloody 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 of America’. There were some dissenting notes, with The Times calling it ‘a damp squib’.

Robert De Niro, who recently welcomed his seventh 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, has also collaborated with Scorsese on a number of projects, such as Goodfellas (1990), Taxi Driver (1976) and also The Irishman (2019).
After the premiere of Killers Of The Flower Moon at Cannes, the film is slated to release in theaters later this year on October 20.
