Travis Kelce might have already made up his mind regarding his future in the NFL.
During an appearance on “The Steam Room” Friday, the tight end’s brother, Jason Kelce, suggested he knows deep down whether he will be continuing his football career or hanging up his cleats for good.
“I think Travis, I think he probably, in his heart, already knows what he wants to do,” Jason said. “That’s the reality of it.”

The former Philadelphia Eagles center, 37, can relate to the struggle as he grappled with the same decision ahead of the 2024 season.
Jason said he talked to Travis, 35, “a lot” about his decision to retire — but has yet to get a definitive answer from the Kansas City Chiefs star.
“I’m sure we will talk about it — we’ve already talked about it a little bit — and I’m sure he’s going to go through a process of figuring that out,” Jason added.

Although Jason is prepared to be a sounding board for his brother, he noted that they “have different ways of thinking about things.”
“Sometimes I can way overanalyze situations … and my brother has this way of being like, ‘Hey man, you want to play or you don’t want to play,’” Jason explained. “He’ll say something like that where it’s just like, don’t worry about all these minor things.”
“And nine times out of ten, he’s right about all of it,” he added with a laugh.

Travis has less than one month to decide whether or not he will finish out his contract with the Chiefs, which ends after the 2025 season.
The organization needs to know his plans by March 14, one day before his $11.5 million roster bonus goes into effect. NFL free agency for the upcoming season also begins on March 10 and the Chiefs may be on the market for more offensive weapons if Travis chooses to retire.
Following the Chiefs’ disappointing Super Bowl loss, Travis told his “New Heights” podcast listeners that he wanted some time to process things before announcing his plans for next year.

“I’m not making any crazy decisions, but right now, the biggest thing is just being there for my teammates and being there for my coaches, understanding that there’s a lot that goes into this thing.”
Travis noted that 12 years in the NFL has taken a toll on his body and he only wants to come back if he can be at his best — both mentally and physically.
“I think I can play — whether or not I’m motivated and it’s the best decision for me as a man, as a human, as a person to take on all that responsibility.”
As the football world anxiously awaits his decision, Travis has been laying low with girlfriend Taylor Swift.

The couple has been off the grid ever since the Super Bowl, leading fans to speculate about their whereabouts.
Although it’s unclear if the two jetted off on a relaxing — and much-needed — getaway, we’re told they enjoyed a romantic Valentine’s Day celebration last weekend.
A source told us that Travis dropped “over $100,000 on lavish gifts including roses, candy, gold necklaces, diamond earrings, shoes and clothes” for the pop star.
“He also wanted to include something extra personal so he surprised Taylor with a handmade Valentine’s Day card,” the insider says.
