LeBron James is on a quest to bring home another gold medal for Team USA at the Paris Olympics, but he and wife Savannah also have some time to rub elbows with sports royalty.
A video shared this week showed the Los Angeles Lakers star and his wife meeting former NFL great Tom Brady at an event celebrating U.S.A. Basketball. In the short clip, Brady stops to introduce himself to the couple and gives Savannah James a quick hug.
The pair exchange some words, with LeBron James giving credit to his wife for her support.
“It wouldn’t be possible without her, I’ll tell you that,” LeBron James could be heard saying in the clip.
The video attracted some attention among fans, including one who noted that the hug was a rarity for Savannah James.

“He’s got aura because I have never seen Savannah hug any man not named lebron,” the person shared.
LeBron James has led Team USA to a perfect 3-0 start, earning the top seed heading into the quarterfinals. Playing in his fourth Olympic Games, James is averaging 14.3 points per game along with 6.7 rebounds and 7.3 assists.
Brady has been enjoying his trip to the Paris Olympics, the first time that he’s been free from NFL obligations in more than 20 years. He also attended the gymnastics finals on August 5, cheering on Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles as they both medaled in the floor exercises.
