Kim Kardashian opened up about single motherhood and revealed that she has “cried herself to sleep” due to the challenges she has faced since her split from rapper Kanye West , with whom she has four đ€đ©đȘđđ„ren.
The outburst was made during the businesswoman’s participation in the podcast On Purpose with Jay Shetty , released this Monday, 22nd. Kim spoke about raising North, 9 years old, Saint, 7, and Chicago and Psalm, who are 5 and 4 years old, respectively.
“Everyone says the days are long and the years are short, and that couldn’t be a truer statement,” the influencer said. “I mean, especially when they’re babies and you’re breastfeeding… there’s just madness going on. It’s like total madness. But it’s the best chaos.”
“It’s like I always have to do one of my daughters’ hair – and it has to be perfect and a certain way – and then the other one needs me to put on their shoes and they all need you. It’s total madness, cooking, running around. Like, it’s wild,” she added.
According to Kim, motherhood is the thing that has taught her the most about herself. “It’s been the most challenging thing. There are nights where I cry myself to sleep. Like, holy shit, this damn tornado in my house. Like, what just happened?” she said.
On the other hand, she also stated that being a mother “is the most rewarding job in the entire world.” “You’re never prepared. But you’re going to figure things out and you’re going to be so proud of yourself for doing it and getting through the day,” she said.
