Priyanka Chopra Jonas and husband Nick Jonas wore coordinating elegant shoes while attending the Red Sea International Film Festival on Thursday.

For the event, Chopra opted for a pair of Aquazzura strappy sandals, opting for the sultry yet edgy 105mm Careless Whisper metallic sandals in silver, which further complimented her lavish dress. Crafted with leather material, the footwear peeked through her long gown and featured a rounded design in the upper, which is in-line with what the stars have been choosing for their appearances and outings this year.

A year-round seasonal staple, the silhouette also included a crystal chains and a strap-closing consisting of a slender ankle buckle strap that secured her feet in place as she walked alongside with her husband. Rounding out the footwear was stiletto heel estimated to be in-between 3-to-4 inches in height.

For her outfit, the star chose a strapless silver gown that featured an embellishment across the front. The actress accessorized her ensemble with a pair of silver dangle earrings, and kept her makeup relatively classic with a neutral lip.

As for Nick, was seen in a sleek pair of black oxfords that featured glossy patent leather material. Shining bright as he walked on the red carpet, the dress shoes were completed by a block heel that clocked in at roughly 1.5 inches, with the musician choosing a 3-piece suit for the occasion, emphasized by its sharp tailoring, svelte lines and a matching black bowtie.

Classic oxfords have the same storied history with their inception dating back to the early 1800s era at Oxford University when they were considered a rebellious alternative to the popular knee-high and ankle-high boots of that time period. Many brands including Cole Haan, Gucci and Burberry offer different variations of oxford shoes.

So do strappy sandals, which have been seen on a number of celebrities over the course of this year including Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Ashanti and more. Many brands including Stuart Weitzman and Chanel offer strappy sandals as a part of their lineup. Earlier this week, Chopra made another appearance at the festival wearing a pair of barely there Christian Louboutin sandals.
