Keshia Knight Pulliam is a mom of two!

She and her husband, Brad James, welcomed their son, Knight, in April 2023. The Cosby Show actress is also mom to daughter Ella, 7, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Ed Hartwell.

He filed for divorce from Pulliam in July 2016 after six months of marriage and just a week after Pulliam announced that she was pregnant with a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 girl. The former NFL player also requested a paternity test.

Pulliam spoke about the split in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying, “Despite all of this, I am grateful for my blessing, and that’s my little girl.” The Beauty Shop star welcomed Ella Grace in January 2017.

Here’s everything to know about Keshia Knight Pulliam’s two kids.

Pulliam welcomed her daughter, Ella Grace Hartwell, on Jan. 23, 2017. She announced the news with a sweet photo on Instagram, writing “Ella Grace has arrived!!!!”

At the time of her 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡, Pulliam and Hartwell were in the midst of a tumultuous divorce, with Hartwell requesting a paternity test.

In August 2016, Pulliam shared that the heartbreak the split caused had a strong influence on her daughter’s middle name.

“When I tell you through all of this the grace of God has so been with us and has covered us and protected us — she’s been my saving grace to get through it,” Pulliam said on an episode of her podcast, Kandidly Keshia. “It’s knowing that it’s not about me. It’s about her. It is about her being okay.”

Ella primarily lives with Pulliam and her stepdad, James, in Atlanta. The family lives on a farm, which seems to suit Ella well.

In the summer of 2022, Ella started taking horseback riding lessons. “My big girl has officially started riding lessons & I am so proud!! Like me, she loves horses,” Pulliam wrote in a post on Instagram, adding, “I’m happy that I now have a little riding partner.”

As for whether or not she’ll follow in her mother’s footsteps, Pulliam has said that it’s a possibility.

“She’s aware that mommy is an actress,” Pulliam shared during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2020. “And the other day, she was like, ‘Well Mommy, can I be an actor when I grow up?’ Whatever it is that [Ella] ultimately chooses to do, I absolutely support.”

Ella is very close with her stepdad. In February 2022, Pulliam posted a photo of James getting a makeover (courtesy of Ella) and wrote: “Love is getting your nails painted blue & wearing them out in public proudly!! #GirlDad.”

According to her mom, Ella is also a doting older sibling.

“Ella is the best big sister ever,” Pulliam told PEOPLE in October 2023. “So much so that sometimes I have to remind her that I am both of their mama and that she’s not the mama! But they love each other so much, it’s just a joy. The way his face lights up when he sees her, it’s amazing.”

In early April 2023, Pulliam and James welcomed their 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 boy.

“With this little one we are complete,” the new mom-of-two captioned a post on Instagram, adding that her son decided to arrive very close to her own 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day. “What an eventful 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day week….”

Pulliam revealed the boy’s name, Knight, a month later in a Mother’s Day post.

Pulliam started dating James in 2019 after the pair met on the set of the TV movie Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta. The For Better or Worse actor proposed a year later. A rep for Pulliam confirmed the engagement to PEOPLE, saying the pair were “excited to find their happily ever after.” In September 2022, they tied the knot in a small ceremony at their home in Atlanta.

A few months after their wedding, Pulliam opened up to PEOPLE about her egg-freezing experience. “I began the process of freezing my eggs,” she said, before explaining that various procedures were canceled because of COVID-19. “So, I was unable to continue,” she added.

While she and James were disappointed that they had to put their plans on hold, they remained “open to getting pregnant” the “old-fashioned way.”

Then, in December 2022, Pulliam and James appeared together on The Tamron Hall Show to share that they were expecting their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 together.

Pulliam, noticeably pregnant, told the host that it felt “so good” to finally talk about it publicly. “Not that I’ve been trying to hide it,” she said, “but when you’ve had a miscarriage, when you’ve gone through this journey, you want to just enjoy this moment and want to make sure that everything is OK.”

Elon Musk SHOCKED as U.K. Bans Cybertruck on Roads

In a surprising turn of events, Tesla’s Cybertruck has been banned from UK roads, following the seizure of one such vehicle by authorities near Manchester last month. This incident has sent shockwaves through the electric vehicle (EV) community, revealing deeper issues related to the Cybertruck’s engineering that conflict with UK regulations. The Cybertruck, weighing in at an astonishing 6,898 pounds, exceeds the legal weight limit for many UK drivers. This hefty build is not the only problem; the vehicle’s sharp-edged design violates UK safety laws that require protruding parts to have rounded edges to enhance pedestrian safety. These sharp angles, while integral to the Cybertruck’s structural integrity, pose a significant risk, undermining the safety measures that are crucial in a country where over 16,000 pedestrian collisions occurred last year. Moreover, the vehicle’s lighting system fails to meet UK standards. The seamless LED light bar, while visually striking, breaches multiple regulations regarding brightness and visibility. Notably, the Cybertruck’s innovative software-driven lighting lacks necessary backup systems, which could render it nearly invisible in case of a central computer failure. Perhaps most concerning is the material Tesla chose for the Cybertruck’s body. The use of ultra-tough 30X cold-rolled stainless steel, while impressive, compromises the vehicle’s safety design. Standard vehicles are engineered to crumple upon impact, dissipating crash energy to protect occupants. In contrast, the Cybertruck’s rigid structure could transfer crash forces directly into its passenger area, potentially heightening the risk of injury during accidents. Tesla’s decision to forgo compliance with UK regulations appears deliberate, focusing instead on a bold aesthetic. This move could have significant financial implications, with estimates suggesting up to $450 million in potential losses over the next three years in the UK market alone. As discussions surrounding vehicle safety and innovation evolve, the Cybertruck’s ban has ignited a critical conversation about the balance between design and safety in the rapidly changing landscape of electric vehicles. While the Cybertruck may be tailored for the vast highways of the U.S. and rugged terrains elsewhere, it has become evident that it is not suited for the narrow roads of the UK.

Elon Musk: “Panama Canal, The World’s Largest Canal Has SUDDENLY Dried Up!”

In a striking revelation, Elon Musk has raised alarms about the Panama Canal, a century-old cornerstone of global trade, potentially facing unprecedented competition from Mexico’s ambitious $4.5 billion Inter-Oceanic Corridor project. This development, articulated by Musk, underscores a profound shift in maritime logistics that could reshape geopolitical dynamics and global commerce. The Panama Canal, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, has long served as a vital shortcut for maritime traffic, streamlining the passage for over 10,000 ships annually. However, as container vessel sizes have increased and demand for shipping has surged, the canal’s limitations have become glaringly evident. Musk’s announcement highlights the urgency of these challenges, as the Panama Canal has recently experienced drought conditions, exacerbating congestion and operational inefficiencies. In contrast, Mexico’s Inter-Oceanic Corridor aims to establish a formidable alternative by facilitating the movement of ultra-large container vessels that the Panama Canal cannot accommodate. This project seeks not only to alleviate congestion but also to attract a significant portion of maritime traffic, potentially altering the balance of trade in favor of Mexico. The implications of this initiative extend beyond economic factors. The environmental impact of constructing another major shipping corridor raises critical questions about sustainability and ecological preservation, especially in the context of ongoing climate change concerns. Moreover, the emergence of the Inter-Oceanic Corridor could shift geopolitical alliances, as nations may reassess their trade agreements and partnerships in light of this new competitor. Historically, the Panama Canal has been a strategic asset, influencing international relations and trade negotiations. As the global shipping landscape evolves, Musk’s warnings serve as a reminder of the interconnectedness of infrastructure, economy, and environmental stewardship. The future of global trade may increasingly hinge on alternative routes like Mexico’s Inter-Oceanic Corridor, challenging the Panama Canal’s longstanding dominance and prompting a reevaluation of maritime logistics in an era of rapid change.

Elon Musk: “America’s WORST Disaster In 300 Years Is About To Happen NOW!”

Elon Musk has issued a stark warning, claiming that America is on the brink of its worst disaster in 300 years. This alarming message coincides with troubling findings from NASA, prompting widespread concern among scientists and the public alike. Musk argues that a complex interplay of natural disasters, climate change, and geological tension is setting the stage for an unprecedented crisis as we head into 2024. Recent years have seen a noticeable increase in extreme weather events, from devastating wildfires to record-breaking hurricanes and severe droughts. These phenomena are not just random occurrences; they indicate a troubling pattern that experts have been monitoring closely. Musk believes that the aggregation of these disasters signals a larger threat that America is ill-prepared to confront. At the heart of Musk’s concern is the San Andreas Fault, where seismic pressure has been steadily building. He warns that a catastrophic earthquake could be triggered by various factors, including environmental shifts and climate change. Musk’s frustration extends to NASA, which he accuses of downplaying the severity of the situation. Despite burgeoning evidence of an impending crisis, NASA has remained largely silent, leading Musk to demand greater transparency and public awareness. The implications of Musk’s warning are significant. He envisions a future requiring radical upgrades to America’s infrastructure, including earthquake-resistant buildings and decentralized energy systems to ensure resilience during disasters. This is not just about avoiding panic; it’s about encouraging a proactive approach to safety and innovation. As extreme weather patterns intensify and the pressure builds beneath the earth’s surface, the urgency of Musk’s message resonates. He emphasizes that timely action is critical to prepare for potential calamities. With the stakes this high, the question remains: will America heed Musk’s call to action before it’s too late? The clock is ticking, and each day without preparation increases vulnerability to disasters that could reshape the nation.
