The exceptional career of the American pro golfer has been an inspirational journey for fellow golfers and fans. However, the majority of his earnings came from the tournaments and his wins. But, even a great share contributor is the pro’s partnerships and brand deals. Nike was the first brand that partnered with Woods back in 1996. To make the best for the fans, Woods’s partnership with Nike aimed to create a dedicated clothing lineup with his logo TW that he uses at the course and the same can be offered to the fans. With over 27 years of partnership, the golfer has earned $500 million, as per Business Insider.

The partnership could have been even longer, but back in 2016, Nike stopped manufacturing Golf equipment which initiated opportunities for other brands to step in. Woods then partnered with TaylorMade and used their equipment. However, he still wore Nike apparel at the course until the end of 2023. As his 10-year contract with the brand was not ending until after 2023. Later, in January 2024, Tiger Woods officially parted ways with Nike and created a new brand in collaboration with TaylorMade.

The new brand is Sun Day Red, which was named after his red color preference at the finals of the tournament. While the logo showcases, his 15 Major title wins by showcasing 15 ᵴtriƥes on a Tiger. This is a great step for the golfer to choose a new partnership and create new-age clothing. This has resulted in the creation of a new logo. However, for some fans, this switch to the new logo is not easy to take in.

Well, clothes can be replaced, but some fans have gone a step ahead in showcasing their love for the golfer by getting tattooed with the logo. Yes, that’s true, the fanbase of Woods is just exceptional similar to his golfing career. While many fans got themselves tattooed with the TW logo, not everyone has a positive outlook toward that after the new partnership with TaylorMade. In a recent post, fans can be seen reacting to the tattoo of one Tiger Woods fan.

Now the legacy of 27 years has ended and as mentioned the professional has introduced a new brand with a new logo and name. For some fans, the switch from the older ones could be a little tougher. With fans who have tattooed that old logo, what would be their take on it? Here is how the fans are reacting to a post shared by ZireGolf where a fan can be seen with the TW logo tattoo.

Well, there is not much positive about the tattoo that is for sure as per the comments. Fans are commenting their thoughts on the comment section of the post. One of them commented, “We’ll, that’s one tattoo no one’s ever going to have to get.” While others also reacted similarly by commenting, “Oof he forgot not to get that” and “I really hope he lost a bet and this wasn’t free will.” As Tiger Woods is now associated with TaylorMade and his new logo.

These comments were still better and more concerning, some fans were seen mocking the tattoo guy along with Tiger Woods. Mocking about Tiger Woods’s case one user commented, “Immediately arrested for DUI if pulled over.” Tiger Woods was convicted of a DUI case in 2017. While others have shown regret about his decision for the tattoo and commented, “Terrible” while others did not believe the photo and commented, “No way.”For the fans, the TW logo is a no-no now. But, for the ones who have already gotten a tattoo of it, there is no going back for them.

On the post, many fans have commented tagging their friends mocking them for their TW tattoo, while some even commented about their tattoo of TW. Even though it might not be the worst decision someone can make, it still is a grave one for the fanbase. What are your thoughts on this? Will you ever get a tattoo of your favorite player?
