Allison Kuch and Isaac Rochell Celebrate Their ‘First Thanksgiving as 3’ with 11-Month-Old Daughter

“For us, it’s about making the most of this time,” Rochell previously

Allison Kuch and Isaac Rochell are celebrating their first Thanksgiving as parents, and they’re “SO THANKFUL.”

Kuch commemorated the holiday with 11-month-old daughter Scottie Bee, sharing several photos from the festivities on Instagram on Thursday, Nov. 28, including a sweet family pic with her and the 29-year-old defensive end.

The Sunday Sports Club podcast host, also 29, captioned it their “first Thanksgiving as 3 ♥️🦃 SO THANKFUL!!!”

Kuch highlighted Scottie Bee’s Thanksgiving outfit and included videos of her taking a few steps. On his own Instagram, Rochell shared a peek at the turkey carving.

Kuch spoke about her family’s Thanksgiving plans on a recent episode of the Sunday Sports Club podcast and said that this year would be their first “normal” one together.

She also looked back at her first Thanksgiving with Rochell, when he was with the Los Angeles Chargers as a traveling practice squad member, which she noted “essentially means you could be pulled up at any point.”

“I actually went out to California instead of spending [Thanksgiving] with my family. [But] he ended up going to Dallas because they were playing the Dallas Cowboys,” Kuch recalled, adding that she surprised Rochell with a holiday spread once he got back from the game after midnight.

“I pulled everything out into the counter and lit candles and set the scene. [I] opened up the door and he was so shocked, surprised, and excited because he was hungry,” Kuch said.

“Isaac has never in his entire NFL career had a full day off of a holiday,” she said. “NFL players always have something on the holiday, whether that’d be a football game, they’re traveling, or they have practice.”

But now that Rochell is a free agent, the couple was able to make plans and spend Thanksgiving together.

“I wanna create the household that has so many traditions and fun things that they do [since] I grew up in a family that kind of had traditions,” Kuch said on her podcast. “I’m looking into all the holiday traditions that I wanna start implementing so she has a fun 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood and I’m also living vicariously through my daughter.”

In an interview with PEOPLE earlier this month, Kuch and Rochell talked about their next steps and how their lives were changing without being dictated by a football schedule.

“It’s been difficult navigating this new phase of life, but we’re trying to stay optimistic and ready for whatever comes next. For us, it’s about making the most of this time,” Rochell said.

He added: “If someone told me, ‘Hey, you might not get signed, but the worst-case scenario is that you get to spend a lot of time with your daughter,’ I’d say ‘Okay.’ “
