  • Taylor Swift is topping the charts with “The Tortured Poets Department.”
  • And Elon Musk has taken notice.
  • “I’m not quite the target audience, but nonetheless very impressive indeed!” Musk said of the album.

Taylor Swift has been turning heads with the chart-topping success of her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department” — and she can count Elon Musk as a fan of the new tracks.

“I’m not quite the target audience, but nonetheless very impressive indeed!” Musk said of Swift’s album in an X post on Monday.

The mercurial billionaire was responding to an earlier post by Swift, where she was expressing her gratitude to her fans.

“You’ve outdone yourselves, this is unbelievable,” Swift wrote after sharing a post by Billboard on the album’s success on their charts.

Swift, Billboard said, was “the first artist in history to occupy the entire top 14 spots of the Hot 100 simultaneously” following the release of her eleventh studio album on April 19.

Representatives for Swift didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from BI sent outside regular business hours.

This post isn’t the first time Musk has weighed in on Swift’s success.

Back in September, Musk asked Swift to post some of her “music or concert videos directly on the X platform” after she announced the back covers and track list for the re-recorded version of “1989.”

And when Swift was crowned Time’s “Person of the Year” in December, Musk congratulated her before joking that things would only go down from there.

“Some risk of popularity decline after this award. I speak from experience lol,” Musk told Swift in an X post.

Swift has not replied to any of Musk’s posts.

Swift is herself an economic force, particularly after the roaring success of her billion-dollar grossing Eras Tour.

The pop star sold nearly 4.35 million tickets across 60 concerts last year, netting her a whopping $1.04 billion, per the concert trade publication Pollstar’s year-end charts.

At the 2024 Grammy Awards, Swift scored her fourth album of the year win with her 10th studio album, “Midnights,” making her the first artist in history to accomplish the feat.

Swift is set to continue with the Eras Tour on May 9 when she kicks off the European leg of her tour in Paris.
