Earlier this week, Kendall Jenner dramatically revealed a massive hair change. She went from platinum, medium-length hair to a short brunette bob, showing off the transformation in tasteful nude photos taken by Mert Alas.

Yesterday, the model went out with her new hair on display. She wore a preppy look for fall, pairing a blue collared top and gray sweater vest with a Reformation miniskirt. She added loafers and sunglasses to complete the outfit.

In September, Jenner spoke with Harper’s Bazaar about how she discovered her own personal style. Her stylist, Dani Michelle—who was behind yesterday’s look—helped her define it.

“There was a learning curve for sure,” she said. “But I do believe that knowing your body type, knowing what works well on you, knowing your silhouettes … it’s really important. Fashion is all about expressing yourself and wearing what you love and what makes you the most comfortable.”

When it comes to picking her outfits, she stressed the importance of ease. “I kind of love that very comfortable sense of style, a little bit tomboy,” she said. “All of that really fits into my day-to-day, and I think that for me, it’s all about being comfortable.”

She also noted that looking good has as much to do with your attitude as it does the clothes you’re wearing.

“It all comes with your confidence level and the way you walk into a room and kind of your energy about it,” she explained. “At the end of the day, you make it what you make it. And I think that [if] you walk into a room knowing you’re the shit, it’s gonna look cute. It’s gonna translate.”
