The Equalizer 4 dream trailer 2 was an enjoyable experience to cook. Thanks to the fun idea of bringing John Wick into the franchise and Queen Latifah as McCall’s sister.

The interesting thing about the character Robert McCall is not really his s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 to fight but how good person he is. I made it clear the secret to his good morals is because of his faith in God, so I made him read the Bible. I also made him say Romans 12 verse 21 “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” Because if there is a bible verse Robert McCall lives by this would be it.

The challenge for the trailer is finding fresh action clips of Keanu Reeves and Denzel Washington. Fortunately I never got to action clips of Keanu from The Matrix 4 film so I took the opportunity to do so. It was also helpful to use clips from 2 Guns for Denzel but there wasn’t much action scenes to use. Since that was the case I got creative and action used clips from The Equalizer 2 and 3 as a form of flashback while Denzel says using A.I “I left that life long time ago. But I can’t turn my back on family.” This time I foreshadow the idea of John fighting Robert, making it look like he is the villain of the story. Additionally I made Robert and Robin have a scene together using A.I I made Robert say “I got a call you’re in trouble is that true sis. Please forgive me. I wasn’t there for you when you needed me. I’m here to make things right.” I think turning the plot about McCall’s family is great idea similar to The Equalizer 2. How we got a glimpse of McCall’s past, so I think the audience would love to know more about it.
