REMEMBER TROY FROM ‘CROOKLYN’? SHE’S ALL GROWN UP NOW

Zelda Harris(February 17, 1985) is an American actress. She is best known for her roles in โ€œCrooklynโ€(1994) and โ€œHe Got Gameโ€(1998).

Harris was ๐›๐จ๐ซ๐ง in in New York City. She began acting at age three. Harris beat out more than one thousand other ๐˜ค๐˜ฉ๐˜ช๐˜ญ๐˜ฅren for the role of Troy Carmichael in Spike Lee’s Crooklyn. She also played Jessi Ramsay in The Baby Sitters Club film (1995).

She is an alumnus of Princeton University where she was a member of the Class of 2007.

The Princeton graduate appears to be more focused on music these days and is doing pretty well for herself. The former ๐˜ค๐˜ฉ๐˜ช๐˜ญ๐˜ฅ star, belongs to a Los Angeles-based band called Cosmic Waters. Harris was also a singer with Zelda and the Lo Los. Not only does she sing well, as seen in several videos online, but Harris also plays the piano and the saxophone.

As of 2021, she is working as a teacher.
