The most independent and skeptical individuals often live by the advice: you can’t count on anyone, not even your shadow. Although this proposal seems harsh, it is true for some people who have been betrayed several times in their lives, even by people close to them.
Although it is not ideal, life has shown us that there are friends who will not abandon us even in the most terrible circumstances, and dogs are an example of this.
A woman abandoned by her family is escorted by her faithful dog.
It makes no difference if some humans decide to abandon us; the dogs will always be with us one way or another.
Difficult conditions push some people to make unfair choices, as did a Nigerian family with a mentally ill woman who resided with her. According to Twitter user @Nigeriangod_, these people had grown tired of her and saw no alternative but to abandon her on the street.
The woman normally sits alone on the sidewalk, without family or friends to pick her up, but she always has the company of her little dog, the only one who has not abandoned her.
“There is a mentally ill woman across the street from my house; every night a dog comes to play with her, and the way the two are always engaging is beautiful to see.” “She had the dog before she had her mental problems, and she comes to see her every night”” the guy wrote on Twitter.
In the dark, the woman’s faithful canine friend becomes the light that ensures her safety.
“She was abandoned by her family and friends, but her dog never was,” the young man said in the tweet. Unlike the humans who abandoned her when they felt that they could no longer take care of her, her dog will visit her as soon as he can, without judgment or prejudice, so that she is not alone. He stayed by her side against all odds.
“The dog doesn’t care about her smells or the fact that she hasn’t washed for months or years; he just loves her unconditionally,” the guy said on the social network.
The post quickly went viral, with many people sharing their thoughts on social media and many more planning to reach out and provide help.
“The more people I meet, the more I appreciate dogs”” said one user.
”There is no doubt that dogs are the most faithful animals that God can give us,” observed another.
