This pit dog sacrificed his life to save his owners! Nong Horm was a great heroine when she assaulted a snake in her family’s garden in Pathum Thani, central Thailand, but was 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed by the snake’s venom.
Nong Horm was in the last stages of her pregnancy when she fearlessly confronted a monocled snake, one of the deadliest in the world.
Despite the state of near-life of the snake, the pit bull bit him on the lips, allowing the venom to act quickly and 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 him.
The incident happened quickly and the family could not intervene. The owner, Suriyon Chanthakhot, spoke about the event with deep regret. “Our wonderful dog was 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed defending us from the snake. My heart is broken. I’m sobbing just thinking about the misery she must have felt,” he said
