A relationship expert has warned Kim Kardashian about restarting her relationship with Pete Davidson.

The 43-year-old reality TV star and the 30-year-old comedian and actor are reportedly ‘considering’ rekindling their romance due to ‘unfinished business,’ two years after it came to a halt in August 2022.

A source told Star Magazine: ‘She’s confident things will be different this time around. She’s craving excitement in her life and she always responds to Pete.’

The source added that the Kardashians star would also want to ‘keep things private’ this time around if she were to re-enter a relationship with the former SNL star.

Kim started dating Pete in November 2021, just a month after meeting him on the set of Saturday Night Live when she made her hosting debut.

He ended up getting four tattoos dedicated to Kim, which he later got removed – with the couple attending the Met Gala in 2022 together and even wearing matching PJs at one point.

But, speaking to The Mirror US, relationship guru Louella Alderson has insisted that their supposed reunion may not be the best idea.

The expert advised that deciding whether to reignite an old flame or not depends on the individual circumstances, adding that it’s important to consider whether both parties have ‘matured’ in their time apart.

She told the publication: ‘In the case of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, it seems unlikely that they have significantly changed since their initial relationship.

‘While it’s possible that Kim may miss the friendship they had, it’s important to consider why they broke up in the first place and whether those issues have been fully resolved.

‘It also raises questions about the motivation behind wanting to reunite – is it truly love or just a desire for someone young and fun?’

The supposed idea to rekindle comes just months after Kim’s relationship with Odell Beckham Jr was understood to be over in March – a year after they were romantically linked.

She began dating the American football player, 31, last spring – but the couple had not been seen together since March 10 and a joint appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars viewing party in Los Angeles.

The split came as a shock to some as it was reported by Life and Style magazine that Kim was even hoping to welcome a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 with Odell.

Kim shares four 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren with her ex-husband Kanye West – North, 11, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five.

Odell also already has a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 – a son Zydn, two, with his ex-girlfriend Lauren Wood.

The wideout had dated fitness entrepreneur and influencer Lauren for four years, taking their relationship public in 2019.

They welcomed Zydn in February 2022 before splitting last year with the break-up confirmed in September when Odell began ‘hanging out’ with Kim.

Kim and Odell added to growing speculation about their romance by heading to Chateau Marmont for Jay-Z and Beyonce’s post-Oscars party in March.

Pete also reportedly had a great relationship with Kim’s four 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren and there were reports that Kim and Pete had discussed having a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 together.

When the pair split after nine months back in August 2022, they cited demanding schedules and the long distance as their reasoning.

At the time, an insider explained to E! News: ‘They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and demanding schedules made it difficult to maintain a relationship.’

Following their breakup, in October 2023 Kim revealed that she wanted an ‘age-appropriate’ boyfriend.

On an episode of her Hulu series The Kardashians, she revealed one of the parameters she has set for her next dalliance.

‘I have age limits, guys,’ she told her gal pals when the subject of men came up. ‘I need just a little bit more age-appropriate. I need like 40s.’
