The Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is referred to Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marlon Humphrey as a “chubby fast dude”

The infamous “dad bod” of Patrick Mahomes has reappeared in the conversation.

A few days following the Chiefs’ victory against the Ravens in the season opener, Marlon Humphrey, the cornerback, discussed the s𝓀ð’ū𝓁𝓁 set of the team’s standout quarterback while expressing an odd observation about his general build.

On Wednesday’s episode of his “Punch Line” podcast, Humphrey stated, “It’s hard to beat Mahomes,” according to SI.com.

Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey spoke about Patrick Mahomes on the latest episode of his podcast.Punch Line Podcast/YouTube

He just does things, which is what makes him so good. He actually does some pretty crazy things that occasionally get caught, but usually don’t. He is a swift, plump guy. Every time he just outpaces someone or outjumps someone in the backfield, emerges from a sack, and launches the ball, it always astounds me.

In last Thursday’s 27-20 victory over the Ravens, Mahomes completed 291 yards of passing with one touchdown, one interception, and two sacks.

Despite the fact that Mahomes’ play is usually the focus, when the club defeated Baltimore in the AFC Championship in January, his frame became a topic of discussion on the internet.

A video of Mahomes without a shirt at the moment appeared on “Inside the NFL,” and it quickly went viral on social media.

Adding his voice to the conversation, Mahomes wrote on X, “Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!? #DadBodSZN.”

In an April interview with TIME, the three-time Super Bowl champion—who is currently vying for a third consecutive title with the Chiefs—talked about his “dad bod.”

He admitted, “I definitely have the dad bod a little bit.” I’ll add that, as a quarterback, my body is excellent. You must include some cushioning to withstand the blows we incur.

This week, the Chiefs will play their second rivalry game of the season when they host Joe Burrow and the Bengals, who are trying to avoid starting 0–2.

Humphrey, who last week made fun of Mahomes’ teammate Travis Kelce for having a $100 million podcast deal, will play the Raiders (0-1) at home on Sunday with the Ravens.
