Nick Jonas and his wife’s $20 million California mansion turned into a nightmare due to a broken water system, leading to mold invasion.
According to Page Six , Nick Jonas – Priyanka Chopra have moved out of the million-dollar mansion because it was severely damaged. In a lawsuit filed against the repair company in May 2023, Jonas said the water in the spa and swimming pool caused a series of problems for more than 2 years that he and his wife lived here.
The report said the water system was failing, causing water to seep into the living space, causing mold, contamination, and other issues. “Water was leaking into the BBQ area. This leak damaged part of the common living space,” the complaint stated.
The Jonas family could no longer afford to live in the dangerous conditions, so they filed a lawsuit demanding that the original defendant pay back all costs of the repairs, plus compensation for the loss of use of the appliances, as well as other damages “caused by the defendant’s actions.”
The exact cost has not yet been determined, but according to the complaint, the waterproofing issue will exceed $1.5 million and the overall damage is estimated at $2.5 million .
Priyanka Chopra and her husband bought a mansion in Encino, Los Angeles for $20 million in November 2019. The entire land is three acres, of which the house is 1900 square meters. The couple renovated it in a contemporary, minimalist style and bought all new furniture.
The villa has 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, large kitchen space, temperature-controlled wine room, basketball court, bowling alley, theater, recreation room, spa with full sauna.
“They invested a lot in this house, and were disappointed with the construction error. The house is currently being repaired. Nick and his wife hope to have it back to perfect condition soon,” the source said.
