And Paris 2024 is no different, with the star names out in force hopeful of a gold medal.

Giants like basketball legend and USA flag bearer LeBron James and recent winner at The Open Xander Schauffele will be in the city of love hoping to score even more success in their careers.

Some of them will be joined on the journey by their gorgeous Wags.

From a glam podcast host to a stunning Swedish model who has appeared in Vogue, here are the most prominent wives and girlfriends cheering their partners on at the Games.

Desire Inglander

Mondo Duplantis is one of the greatest pole vaulters of all-time, and away from sport his personal life couldn’t get much better.

He has been dating stunning Swedish model Desire since 2020, and they are clearly head over heels in love.

The blonde beauty is signed with Istanbul and London-based, Voce Model Agency and is often clad in designer wear by the likes of Prada and Dior.

She just appeared in the Scandinavian version of Vogue in a stylish photoshoot.

Desire also just completed a degree in communications, so is clearly looking to forge a career for herself.

She is popular on social media, with over 210,000 followers on Instagram and 300,000 plus on TikTok.

Gorgeous Savannah is the matriarch of basketball wives.

She is the other half of USA basketball’s greatest player, LeBron James.

They began dating in the early 2000’s, before he became a global superstar, and married in 2013.

The mum of three also has her own podcast called Everybody’s Crazy.

She was notoriously private, famously snubbing an invite to appear on US reality TV show Basketball Wives, until recently breaking out of her shell to enjoy the limelight.

Maria Emilia Ferrero

Representing Argentina in football is Man City ace Julian Alvarez.

He is ably supported by his missus, Maria – a former PE teacher in his homeland.

A keen hockey player, it is believed she first dated Alvarez when they were both teenagers.

After splitting, they later rekindled their romance.

Finally, before his move to Manchester, the two went public with their relationship and she joined him after he moved to the UK.

The France star oozes class, as does his very talented wife Kitsey who is a designer.

She founded Kitesy Martin Studio and creates bespoke jewellery pieces in Paris.

Previously, Kitesy worked for Balenciaga, Balmain, and even Lacoste.

Leah, who is a former gymnast, is married to 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood sweetheart and Team GB star Max Whitlock.

The pair met at South Es𝓈ℯ𝓍 Gymnasts Club when Whitlock was 12.

They got engaged in 2016 and married a year later.

She told The Express of the Lake District proposal: “It was a beautiful place and we went for a walk around the grounds and he laid down a picnic blanket and asked me.”

Leah welcomed daughter Willow in 2019.

Meghan is married to USA’s seven-time gold medalist Caeleb Dressel, who is bound to be in the medals in Paris.

A former swimmer, she was a two-time Florida state champion in the 100 metre breaststroke.

However, she gave up swimming to concentrate on her studies in her second year, and is now a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 counsellor.

They romantically tied the knot on Valentine’s Day in 2021, and three years later welcomed a son.

Over the years, she has been credited with helping Caeleb prioritise his mental health.

Bridget Konttinen

Bridget’s partner is US swimmer Ryan Murphy

USA swimmers are well-represented in the Wag stakes, with Ryan Murphy married to the stunning Bridget.

They reportedly got together in 2016, after meeting at the University of California as student athletes.

Bridget was formerly a varsity rower for their team, Golden Bears

Last year they said their ‘I do’s’ in a beautiful ceremony at Lake Tahoe.

She now works in creative content production, with projects for Nike and Allbirds under her belt.
