Serena Williams’ crumbling 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥hood home worth half its value after stepmom ‘stole’ it from dad and ran it into ground

SERENA and Venus Williams’ dad is set to lose a fortune on the family home he had “stolen” by his ex-ᵴtriƥper wife, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.

The once-grand estate in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida is to be sold at auction on July 18 to pay off the colossal debt racked up by their stepmom.

This tragic situation has come about after his wife Lakeisha – 45 and only three years older than Serena – faked Richard’s signature to transfer the property into her name and take out a $279,000 loan from a hard lender, David Simon.

She blew the lot on a failed trucking business, according to court documents.

After a seven-year legal battle, the place will be sold in two days to pay off Simon’s debt – which now stands at $436,000 including interest and legal fees.

And the bills just keep on coming for Lakeisha as we can reveal that she’s got outstanding Palm Beach property taxes for 2022 and 2023 – $12,998 and $16,345 respectively, which includes $1,444 interest.

And the sale of the once pretty house, now been left overrun by Lakeisha, will get a fraction of what it’s worth in an auction.

According to realtor sites, the four-bed mansion is worth over $1.6 million – but they’ll be lucky to get half that amount.

The last time it was put up for auction two years ago, the value was set at $1,024,620 – and property prices have remained static.

Thursday will be a sad day for legendary tennis coach Richard – saying goodbye to the home that’s been in the family since 1995 when he bought it with Serena and Venus’ mother Oracene for $355,000.

It is where the tennis stars grew up and played on the courts.

NO LEGAL ENTITLEMENT

Lakeisha hasn’t maintained the upkeep on the property and it was alleged that she was living in one of the outbuildings at one stage, as the main house had a leaking roof.

There are disused trucks, trailers, and shipping containers on site.

A motorhome in one corner of the estate appears to be burnt out.

The most poignant photo is the destroyed tennis court, with a disjointed, threadbare net cord, and it hasn’t been used for years.

Instead of making a tidy profit on the place, Richard will come away with nothing.

The courts have already ruled that Richard, 82, won’t get a cent from any sale despite the house being “snatched” from him.

Court filings state that Richard had to agree to no legal entitlement to the land with it being written in a legal judgement.

Docs read, “Richard Williams has forever waived any and all claims, defenses and appellate rights he had or has relating directly or indirectly to the above captioned suit, whether asserted or not. Said waiver is acknowledged and approved by the Court.”

Any remaining funds, after paying Simon, legal and realtor fees, will go to her other creditors – over 20 in all.

She has federal tax liens overhanging and is being chased by the IRS.

Finance firms are trying to claw back their cash including Bank of America, Comenity Bank, and Synchrony Bank.

Some of her debts have been passed onto collection agencies such as Firstsource Advantage, LVNV Funding, and Forest Recovery Services.

She also owes to companies who appear to have been involved with her doomed trucking business such as auto financing firms Embassy Loans and Tidewater Finance.

The sale of the house will hopefully bring closure to Lakeisha’s financial mess.

Ailing Richard said the home was “beautiful” when he lived there with Serena, Venus, and Oracene.

“The ten acres of land is unbelievable,” Richard said, explaining, in an ideal world, he’d like to demolish the home and build a new property, adding: “I don’t need the past no more if I keep [focusing] on the past, I won’t do much.”

Despite losing the home, Richard still appears to be fairly affluent although he’s had to rely on his daughter Serena’s aid and has moved into a swish pad paid for by her, just a few miles down the road.

In a shock move, Richard called off the divorce after seven years of legal fighting – and the pair are believed to be living at Serena’s paid-for home.

‘BACK TOGETHER’

Despite his son Chavoita LeSane telling The U.S. Sun he was set to refile, he has not done so.

He claimed the only reason his dad had the divorce dismissed was because he missed a deposition and court date due to his health, and came to an agreement with the judge.

Chavoita said, “He didn’t realize he had to go to court. He was like, ‘Just give me a week to get myself ready for it.’ But the lawyer couldn’t get a week. And he hates being pressured.

“The last attorney had it set where he was unfit to stand trial, and that was seven years ago.”

“He’s been wanting me to coach him because when he says ‘yes’ sometimes he means ‘no,’ and when he says ‘no’ he means ‘yes,'” Chavoita added.

“He would never want his words to be misconstrued. That’s what the issue was.

“The divorce will resume, but we’ve got to sort it out.

But Lakeisha’s lawyer told a different story.

In a statement, she said, “Richard Dove Williams and his wife Lakeisha Williams have a son and are raising him together.

“They are a family. Lakeisha works and Richard often takes care of their son.”

“Lakeshia and Richard Williams have a romantic and 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual relationship. With their son, they are a family. They live together. They go on family trips to Disney together.”
