It’s arriving streaming on Netflix in August, along with a two week theatrical run as well. A family living in a home in Indiana discover strange, demonic occurrences that convince them and the community that the house is a portal to hell. Single mother Ebony must face down her demons in order to save her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s souls… Inspired by a true story of possession, Lee Daniels’ The Deliverance horror stars Andra Day, Glenn Close, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Mo’Nique. It’s described by Netflix as “a genre-defying take on darkness, possession, and finding a higher power.” Also with Anthony B. Jenkins, Miss Lawrence, Demi Singleton, Tasha Smith, Omar Epps, and Caleb McLaughlin. Not an intense drama, it’s an intense horror with some freaky things going on! Very effective trailer to grab your attention.
