Real Madrid plays big to welcome new player Mbappe

On the club’s official website, Real Madrid is pleased to announce the presentation of new signing Kylian Mbappée, which will take place on Tuesday, July 16 (local time), at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. This spectacular ceremony will be open to Real Madrid members, Premium Madridistas and fans free of charge, subject to seat availability.

To avoid overcrowding, Real Madrid has divided the ticket distribution time. Specifically, the ticket distribution time for Real Madrid members who buy season and non-season tickets starts from the morning of Friday, July 12, each member can buy up to 4 free tickets for themselves and their family. E-tickets will be sent via email and downloaded to mobile phones. Fans only need to present the ticket code to scan through the security gate when entering the stadium. Tickets for Premium Madridistas will be distributed from 12 noon on Saturday, July 13 until sold out. Tickets for the general public will be distributed from 10 am on Sunday, July 14 until sold out.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, tickets for Mbappe’s presentation sold out quickly after they went on sale on Friday. There were approximately more than 85,000 Real Madrid fans attending the French striker’s unveiling.

Earlier, according to Spanish newspaper Marca, Real Madrid’s official online sales website was overloaded and completely crashed after fans rushed to order new signing Mbappe’s jersey. The price for an authentic jersey with the 2018 World Cup winner’s name on the back is £160, and the expected delivery time is six weeks. This is in stark contrast to the delivery time of just one week for jerseys with the names of Jude Bellingham or Vinicius Jnr. The fan frenzy for Mbappe was predicted in advance, and the Real Madrid website crash is the clearest proof of that.

Mbappe joined Real Madrid on a free transfer after his contract with PSG expired. After finishing the EURO 2024 campaign with the French team, Mbappe went to Spain to prepare for his debut with the new team. Real Madrid President Florentino Perez will personally introduce Mbappe to the club’s fans. After that, Mbappe will begin preparing for the new season with his teammates at Real Madrid. Mbappe arrived at the Bernabeu with great expectations. Along with young stars like Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, Mbappe is expected to join them in creating a new generation of Galacticos at Real Madrid.
