The shocking footage shows the enormous blade hanging off the back of a stationary lorry on a city street as the car sits impaled at the other end.
As the camera zooms in, the extent of the damage becomes clear as the front and rear windows of the car are completely smashed in and the front door hangs open.
Two male occupants were reportedly 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed at the accident scene.
Officials soon arrive and have visibly made attempts to cover up their bodies on the side of the road.
The Chinese authorities have yet to release any information on the circumstances surrounding the accident.
The clip went viral on Chinese social media platform Weibo, racking up more than 722,000 views since being uploaded yesterday (July 4).
Many people voiced their concern at the way in which the giant wind turbine blade was being transported, calling for safer measures in the future.
One local commented: “There should be a security vehicle to escort the transportation of large objects.”
A second person wrote: “Wind turbines are too expensive to transport.”
A third social media user said: “Escort vehicles usually maintain a safe distance and many drivers cut in without paying attention, I have personally encountered this.”
In 2019, one man had the shock of his life when a giant cactus pierced his windscreen in a crash.
Cops said Kai Scott miraculously escaped unhurt after hitting the plant and breaking it in two after veering across a central reservation.
Striking images show the black sports car impaled by the desert plant through the windshield, where the thick, spined trunk of a Saguaro cactus can be seen sticking out over the bonnet.
Other shots from the side show the near miss with the tree-like plant wedged between the driver and front passenger seats.
The giant wind turbine blade tragedy is just the latest to happen in China in recent months, however.
In April, horrific footage captured the moment bystanders tried to smash open the windows of a burning electric vehicle after a crash on a busy highway.
The Aito SUV exploded into a fireball after the smash, 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ing three members of the same family inside including a 2-year-old boy.
The car, wrecked on a busy highway in Yuncheng, northern China, appeared to have smashed into the back of a truck.
