LeBron James is already reflecting on the Los Angeles Lakers drafting his son, Bronny, in the NBA draft earlier this week.

On X on Sunday, James posted his thoughts a few days removed from the draft, saying he “just had a moment!”

With the 55th in the 2024 NBA draft. The Los Angeles Lakers select……. Bronny James. 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲. Just had a moment!

It was a historic moment not only for the James family but for the NBA as well. With Bronny joining the Lakers, it marks the first time a father and son not only have played for the same team but also played in the league at the same time.

James has likely dreamt of the moment since the day Bronny was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧, but now he can say it has become a reality.

Bronny still has a lot of work to do until he’s in the rotation playing alongside his dad, though. He’ll begin his journey with the Lakers in a few weeks at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, where he’ll look to continue developing against other talented rookies.

If he can perform well and develop the way the Lakers think he will, he could be on the court with his father in no time.
