Jason‘s recent retirement means Travis is the sole remaining Kelce in the NFL
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are the power couple of 2024. Despite hectic schedules — Swift with recording and touring, Kelce with his NFL commitments — the two often find time to get together, even if they have to cross the Atlantic Ocean to reunite.
In light of Travis‘ shocking appearance onstage at one of Taylor‘s Eras Tour shows in London, Travis’ older brother Jason has endeared himself to Swifties by supporting the couple as they approach the one-year milestone in their romance.
At an event hosted by his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, Jason Kelce revealed that Travis’ life has changed amid his ongoing romance with the superstar singer-songwriter Swift — and he couldn’t be happier for the pair.
“We just want to be supportive of him and their relationship and everything that they’ve got going on because it’s so wonderful right now,” Jason said at Wednesday’s Eagles Autism Foundation event.
Earlier this spring, Jason retired from the NFL after 13 stellar seasons with the Eagles. A frequent All-Pro selection and a Super Bowl champion during his career, Jason is sure to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in a few years’ time — and Travis will someday join him, when he retires from playing for the Kansas City Chiefs.
But before any of that happens, the relationship between Travis and Taylor will continue to deepen — if Travis’ onstage appearance at Wembley Stadium is any indication of his importance to the “Lover” singer.
“We were over in London at those concerts, and Taylor, what she has accomplished not just in that short period of time, but over the course of her career, is truly remarkable,” Jason told reporters on Wednesday.
