Patrick Mahomes is taking some time to celebrate his wife, Brittany Mahomes.
The 28-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, who will be playing in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, was spotted at a party his wife held at Carversteak in Las Vegas on Friday night to celebrate her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover.
“Everyone’s jaws dropped when [Brittany] walked in with her friends,” a source tells PEOPLE. “And then again when Patrick later walked in to join the party in the private dining room.”
The insider shared that the couple spared no expense for the celebration, adding, “There were custom espresso martinis and a tomahawk steak branded with ‘Patrick’ and ‘Chiefs’ logos.”
Brittany, 28, gave her Instagram followers a glimpse into the celebration on her Instagram Story over the weekend.
In one video, she showed off a drink with the words “Congratulations Brittany!” written on top. Another clip showed a large steak with a bone that featured a print of Patrick’s face and name along with the Chiefs’ logo.
The mom of two, who wore a black strapless corset with black leather flare pants and a white faux fur jacket, also shared some videos of herself dancing with her friends, as well as some photos from the celebration.
Patrick and Brittany arrived in Vegas earlier this week, as the NFL star prepares for his team’s matchup against the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium for the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Brittany recently made her SI debut as a 2024 Rookie in a Baywatch-themed swimsuit shoot, photographed by Derek Kettela. The full spread has not yet been revealed yet, as it will be featured in the 60th anniversary issue, published in May.
Earlier in the week, when Brittany announced that she had made her debut, she posted a shot of herself from the shoot on her Instagram Story, in which she posed in a red Mugler bathing suit.
Brittany tagged Patrick and thanked him “for being the most supportive husband” in a caption written over the pic.
She went on to describe her shoot experience as “nothing short of amazing,” as she gave thanks to the shoot and styling team, calling them, “ALL AMAZING PEOPLE.”
The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will face off in Super Bowl LVIII, airing on CBS on Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
