Kevin Durant and Brandin Podziemski exchanged words during Wednesday’s game.
On Wednesday evening, the Phoenix Suns hosted the Golden State Warriors in Arizona.
The Suns had control of the game for most of the night, but things got close at the end when the Warriors cut the score to 118-114.
During the final seconds, rookie Brandin Podziemski and Kevin Durant exchanged words (h/t Warriors on NBCS).
The Suns ended up winning by a score of 123-115, and Durant led the way with 32 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two blocks while shooting 7/14 from the field and 3/4 from the three-point range in 34 minutes of playing time.
With the victory, the Suns are now 9-6 in their first 15 games and have won five games in a row.
They will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies in Tennessee.

As for the Warriors, they were led by Klay Thompson, who had 23 points, three rebounds, one assist and one block while shooting 8/17 from the field and 6/10 from the three-point range in 25 minutes of playing time.
With the loss, the Warriors are now 7-9 in their first 16 games and 2-8 in their previous ten games.
Podziemski, who was the 19th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Santa Clara, played 23 minutes and had ten points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals while shooting 4/9 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range.
The Warriors will play their next game on Friday evening when they host the San Antonio Spurs.
