Arturo Vidal has launched a scathing attack on Erik ten Hag for his treatment of Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.
Ronaldo was forced out at Man United by Ten Hag, who fell out with the superstar forward during his second spell at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese international subsequently moved to Saudi Arabia as he signed for Al Nassr.
Vidal, who came up against the five-time Ballon d’Or winner at club and international level, has now hit out at Ten Hag over his treatment of the Red Devils legend.
The former Barcelona midfielder, who also enjoyed spells at Juventus and Inter Milan, slammed the manager’s decision to take Ronaldo out of the side after being the top scorer the season before.
Speaking on his Twitch stream via SportsKeeda, he said: “That coach came in badly. How are you going to take out Cristiano Ronaldo? That’s how these guys are. He was the top scorer and he takes him out.
“These bald guys are very complicated,” he ruthlessly added.
Ronaldo scored 24 goals in all competitions in his first campaign back at Man United.
But game time dried up following the appointment of Ten Hag as he eventually secured a move away from the club.

The Dutch boss has been under pressure following his team’s start-of-the-season slump. He relieved some of the strain by beating Burnley 1-0 last weekend to snap a three-game losing streak, having lost to Arsenal, Brighton and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
