Reports have claimed that new Chelsea signing Cole Palmer will make his first start for the club tomorrow in the EFL Cup.
According to the Evening Standard, the deadline day addition is now ready to start after only being seen off the bench so far this season.
Palmer was selected after a huge string of meetings took place in the final hours of the transfer window.

It became clear the club needed more attacking reinforcements before the busy summer came to an end.
In an attempt to bring in a versatile figure, they elected to look to the Manchester City man at the time as appose to a more natural striker.
Whether they are regretting that decision or not is another matter, however Palmer has certainly shown what he can do in the brief time he has had on the pitch.
Palmer to start for Chelsea tomorrow
Especially against Aston Villa at the weekend, the 21-year-old looked bright and kept chances coming for the Blues despite them being down to 10 men.
Therefore, it has definitely not come too soon that he is in line to make his first start for the club, albeit in the EFL Cup.

There is likely to be heavy rotation for the Blues tomorrow when they welcome Brighton to their home stadium for a cup tie, with both sides eyeing other competitions as their priority.
Mauricio Pochettino however has already claimed that Armando Broja, who is on his way back from a long-term injury, is not ready for a start despite being seen off the bench at the weekend.
With Nicolas Jackson banned, it remains to be seen who the manager looks to lead the line in the coming days.
