Kylian Mbappe branded a ‘sore loser’ after PSG star fumes at opponent over goal celebration

Kylian Mbappe was involved in an ugly altercation with an opposing player on Friday night as PSG dropped more points to continue their stuttering start to the new Ligue 1 campaign.

Luis Enrique’s side were beaten 3-2 at the Parc des Princes by Nice, despite Mbappe scoring a brilliant brace.

The visitors took the lead after 20 minutes when Terem Moffi’s deflected strike beat Gianluigi Donnarumma in the PSG goal.

The hosts hit back just eight minutes later, Mbappe firing an unstoppable shot past Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka to level the score.

After the break, Nice retook the lead after Moffi brilliantly set up Gaetan Laborde.

There was then a heated moment when Moffi capped a superb individual performance with his second goal, rolling the ball past Donnarumma from the edge of the area.

Moffi whipped off his shirt after scoring before celebrating in front of the PSG supporters, to the annoyance of Mbappe.

The France international was seen berating the Nice attacker ahead of the restart, clearly agitated by his celebrations. Check out the video below.

Mbappe pulled one back for PSG with a magnificent acrobatic effort three minutes from time, but it was not enough as Nice held on to secure all three points.

Mbappe has since been branded a ‘sore loser’ on social media for his over-the-top reaction to Moffi’s celebration.

Defeat for PSG increases the pressure on new manager Enrique, who only replaced Christophe Galtier in July.

The Parisian club are now third in Ligue 1, behind Monaco and Nice, having won only two of their opening five league games this season.
