Gbenga Lloyd Adesanya, a bright Nigerian who spent more than 7 years working as a local tailor in his own country, received an exceptional degree from Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham, United Kingdom.
Gbenga, who just lost his father, was well-known for having put in seven years of arduous work as a local tailor in Sagamu, South-West, Nigeria, developing into a s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed fashion designer.
On his LinkedIn profile, his brother, Michael Adesanya, congratulated Gbenga on his achievement. Michael stated on his profile that Gbenga Lloyd Adesanya was a master of local fashion hustling in Lagos Island who later earned a master’s degree in international fashion management from Nottingham Trent University.
Michael continued by saying that his brother Gbenga had overcome several obstacles to earn a master’s degree in international fashion management. He claimed that when Gbenga was a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, he narrowly avoided dying.
“Gbenga, thank you for surviving as a still 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧, thank you writing JAMB 4 times, thank you for being a dedicated local tailor for 7 years,” Micheal wrote about Gbenga.
Michael further thanked his brother for showing the world that roadblocks can be stepping stones. He added that their father must be really proud of his achievement.
“Baba Wale must be ”buga-ing” in his grave for taking his name a notch higher in the fashion world. We are proud of you bro,” he said.
