Keanu Reeves is a very dedicated and veteran entertainer in the Hollywood industry and consistently performs most of his stunts. He is also dedicated to his craft and his willingness to put himself in danger for the sake of a good performance. In the John Wick and The Matrix franchise movies, he did most of his stunts, including the ones that were physically demanding and dangerous.

Following in Reeves’ footsteps, his The Matrix co-star Carrie-Anne Moss also performed many tough and dangerous stunts in the movie. But unlike the lead actor, she was displeased by the responsibility of performing her stunts and even keeping another cast member safe simultaneously. Since then, the actress has been vocal about her problems against the director for issuing such a risky stunt.

Carrie-Anne Moss is a Canadian actress best known for playing Trinity in The Matrix movie trilogy and Jeri Hogarth in the Jessica Jones and Iron Fist television series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Moss is a s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed actress who has been in several popular films and TV shows. She has also spoken out against 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual harassment in the film business and is a passionate supporter of gender equality.

However, the actress has always been an active performer in the Hollywood industry and has been very keen on performing her stunts ever since her early days. Moss has said that she enjoys the challenge of learning new s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s and pushing herself physically.

But Carrie-Anne Moss was distressed by her dangerous motorcycle stunt scene in The Matrix. The scene involved her riding a motorcycle through a busy intersection and being chased by Agent Smith. Moss had never ridden a motorcycle before, and she was terrified of doing the stunt. She even had nightmares about it leading up to the shoot. However, she received training and proper guidance before the stunt.

“A passenger who’s life depended on me being impeccable and perfect because I knew that if I allowed my mind one moment of doubt that I could hurt another human being. And I held that for all of those days. It was exhausting holding that mental absolute knowing that I was going to keep him alive.”

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Moss shared that she had to learn how to ride a motorcycle slowly and she was very calm as she performed the dangerous-no-helmet-passenger stunt. She added that she even had to keep the passenger safe as they both had no helmet and even a second of doubt or error could cost them and the movie dearly. The scene was perfectly shot and all the crew members including the actress had a moment of relief.

Early in the 1980s, Keanu Reeves made his acting debut in a handful of television programs and low-budget films. His major break came with the critically acclaimed and financially successful comedy-drama Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. Reeves later starred in several other well-known films, such as Speed, The Matrix, and John Wick.
