Sterling Mahomes passes her mother Brittany’s ‘BUG’ test

The Chiefs’ starting quarterback is entering his seventh NFL season this year. With two Super Bowl victories already under his belt, Patrick Mahomes is once again setting his sights on the Lombardi Trophy. The season’s kickoff has already occurred, and in parallel to last year’s opener, Mahomes and the Chiefs faced a loss to the Saints. However, the team’s luck took a turn as they secured a victory against the Cardinals last Saturday.

Adding to the narrative, Patrick’s wife Brittany Mahomes expressed her affection and support for her husband, and the 27-year-old is undeniably a strong and opinionated woman. Interestingly, both Brittany and Patrick Mahomes are no strangers to challenges, as they even took a GQ test during the preseason and passed it successfully. Furthermore, their daughter, Sterling, also demonstrates their prowess, having recently passed an incredibly impressive test just hours ago.

Sterling aces the identification challenge set by mom

Recently, Brittany Mahomes shared a video on her Instagram. In the video, the former soccer player playfully portrayed a ‘bug’ and asked her 2-year-old daughter to identify it. Sterling, seated in a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 stroller, spotted the bug and quickly responded with the correct answer, “Cicada,” in an adorable voice.

Though Brittany helped with the pronunciation, Sterling’s success in passing the ‘bug test’ garnered attention online. It’s impressive to witness such knowledge at such a young age.

While Sterling and Brittany continue to engage in learning, QB Mahomes is captivating fans with his remarkable throws in preseason games.

Mahomes’ unstoppable game feats

Patrick Mahomes has solidified his reputation for the extraordinary. Holding the NFL’s top quarterback position, Mahomes appears ready to attempt every throw and seldom gives up on a play, even in preseason matches. In the recent clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Arizona Cardinals, Mahomes seized the opportunity classically. When Arizona’s defense forced Mahomes out of the pocket to his right, the MVP transcended the boundary, attempting an unexpected pass while practically hovering out of bounds.

Despite resulting in an eventual incompletion, the display was notably remarkable. The Chiefs emerged victorious in the preseason matchup against the Cardinals. Looking ahead, Mahomes and the Chiefs are focused on their final preseason game against the Browns. Following this, their title defense will commence against the Detroit Lions at 8:20 p.m. ET on Thursday, September 7.

Now only time will reveal whether the Chiefs can secure their title once again this year.
