LeBron James celebrates Bryce Maximus joining Notre Dame High School: Let’s go Maximus

Although LeBron James is currently not making basketball-related headlines this offseason, his sons are capturing the spotlight.

First it was Bronny James who unfortunately drew attention when he experienced a cardiac arrest. Thankfully, the James family has now emerged from this challenging situation.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar and his family are now celebrating Bryce Maximus‘s enrollment at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks.

Like his older brother, Bryce initially played for Sierra Canyon. However, despite facing a minor setback in his NBA aspirations, the 16-year-old is entering his junior year after switching schools twice this summer.

Before the family faced tragedy, Bronny James was on the brink of embarking on his highly-anticipated college journey at the University of Southern California.

A few weeks ago, the young athlete suffered a cardiac arrest during a practice session, collapsing on the court. As expected, LeBron sought guidance from top-tier doctors and leading medical institutions. Consequently, Bronny was recently spotted leaving the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, accompanied by his father.

Meanwhile, Bryce opted for a change after spending his first two high school years at the prestigious Sierra Canyon. Earlier this summer, he transferred to Campbell Hall, a smaller institution known for notable alumni like the Holiday brothers. However, Bryce has now made the decision to join Notre Dame High School.

“H.I.M. Let’s go Maximus!!” James posted on Instagram.

During his sophomore year, Bryce faced some challenges on the court. Playing alongside his older brother, the 6-foot-4 Guard averaged only 3.8 points per game.

Nonetheless, he displayed improved performance at the Nike EYBL, achieving averages of 7.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game over 13 regular-season matches.
