Calling the kiss her guilty pleasure, Diane Keaton coyly admitted that she had quite a fun time while kissing Reeves despite an age gap of 24 years. The John Wick star, on the other hand, revealed that it was a matter of just being polite.

In an interview, Diane Keaton talked about her on-screen kiss with Reeves in the 2003 movie Something’s Gotta Give. Citing the kiss as very embarrassing and like “being with your son”, Keaton couldn’t help but admit that it was indeed her guilty pleasure kissing The Matrix star.
“Yuck, it feels all wrong to me. It’s like being with your son to me, not appealing. God bless every woman who has a younger man but … no! Kissing Keanu in the movie was really fun but horribly embarrassing.”
The 77-year-old actress further continued,
“He’s so beautiful; it’s stupefying. It was a guilty pleasure. A very guilty pleasure”.
As for Reeves, the actor revealed that it was just a matter of being polite. Keanu Reeves talked about another kiss that was one of the most excruciatingly painful kisses that the actor ever felt while kissing Monica Bellucci in 1992.

Back in 1992, the actor starred alongside Monica Bellucci in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. In an interview, Monica Bellucci revealed that they had to shoot the scene multiple times with different variations. These variations caused several retakes which enabled the actress to kiss Reeves an alleged 50 times!
“We did the scene with very many clothes, then fewer clothes, then fewer clothes, and we had to do the scene maybe 50 times. Keanu is a good kisser, so it wasn’t painful. Nine years ago, when I did Bram Stoker’s Dracula and I was just a model, I had to kiss Keanu in that. Every eight years, I kiss Keanu Reeves.”
The Reeves and Diane Keaton starrer received a rating of 6.7/10 on IMDB and 72% on Rotten Tomatoes. Something’s Gotta Give is available to stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.
