However, outshining all his colleagues including Reeves in terms of set safety and chivalry, Tom Cruise recently showcased his courteousness during the shoot of Mission: Impossible 7.

Pom Klementieff, known for her role as supporting villain Paris in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, recently shared an interesting anecdote about filming a fight scene with co-star Tom Cruise.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Klementieff revealed that Tom Cruise adamantly refused to kick her in the stomach during the intense action sequence. During the filming, Klementieff, demonstrating her dedication to the role, repeatedly encouraged Cruise to deliver a real kick to her abdomen, pointing to her well-toned abs.

Despite her insistence that it would enhance the authenticity of the scene, Cruise remained concerned about causing any harm to his co-star and respectfully declined, emphasizing his commitment to safety on set. Sharing the details of the incident, the Marvel’s Guardians and the Galaxy actress said,

“I kept telling him to just kick me here (pointing to her tummy). I was squeezing [my] abs. [I said], ‘You can just go for it.’ He was like ‘No, no, no, no, no.’ I was like, ‘But it’s going to help me!’ But he wouldn’t do it.”

Well, how chivalrous of Cruise to refuse that. However, while Cruise may have been cautious when it came to potentially injuring Klementieff, his enthusiasm for performing daring stunts in the Mission: Impossible franchise was evident once again during the shooting of Dead Reckoning Part One.

Renowned for his willingness to undertake death-defying feats, Tom Cruise engaged in several awe-inspiring stunts throughout the production. In a recent interview, the Top Gun star mentioned that he rarely experiences fear during these sequences, as he becomes fully immersed in the action.

Cruise’s dedication to delivering a true “big screen experience” remains unwavering, as he continues to prioritize the theatrical presentation of his movies.

“I know I’ve done some wild things [in the Mission: Impossible movies]. I think you probably have a better way to look at it than I do because I’m so inside of them when I’m doing it.”
