Meanwhile, Iran’s Iris Shahed Bhiti, a converted container vessel, has emerged as a multi-role drone and helicopter carrier, capable of extended missions and equipped for ISR and strike operations.

As nations strive for maritime dominance, Japan’s JS Uetsu FFM8 and the Netherlands’ HNLMS Dan Helder further exemplify this trend. The Uetsu, a multi-role frigate, and the Dan Helder, a replenishment oiler, enhance operational range and versatility, reflecting a broader commitment to naval modernization.
