When it comes to the Kardashians, there are 13 grandkids to keep up with, ranging in age from 14 to almost-a-year-old. Sure, that’s a lot of little ones for Kris Jenner (aka “Lovey”) to shop for at Christmas, but just think of all the branding opportunities! If you want to get your head wrapped around the ever-expanding Kardashian clan before they’ve completely taken over the world, check out our handy guide to the next generation.
Kim Kardashian’s kids
How many kids does Kim Kardashian have?
The 43-year-old SKIMS founder has four 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren with ex-husband Kanye West—North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm—and it’s clear the reality star can’t get enough of her huge brood. “I just love being a mom,” she said in an episode of E! True Hollywood Story. “It’s exhausting, it’s grueling, but it’s the best.”
Of course, every family weathers its fair share of ups and downs, and for Kim, at times that’s meant enduring a war of words with her ex. In early 2022, Kanye repeatedly lashed out at Kim for allegedly making it difficult for him to see their kids; he also said he didn’t approve of oldest 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, North, being on TikTok. (He later deleted all of those posts.)
Things have seemed to settle down between the exes, at least for now.
“All his shenanigans—I don’t even know what the f–k to call it—is going to be far more damaging to the kids one day than my tape will ever be,” Kim said in Season 3 of Hulu’s The Kardashians, referring to her infamous 𝓈ℯ𝓍 tape, which Kanye has often held against Kim and her mother. “And I have to sit here and not say anything ever. Because I know one day my kids will appreciate that and I know that’s the best thing for them.”
North WestKardashian and West welcomed their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 on June 15, 2013, about a year after they’d started dating. While it’s clear the 11-year-old has inherited her mother’s flair for social media, Kim has said her daughter shares aspects of her father’s personality, too.
During an interview on Ellen, the reality TV star revealed, “She’s really, really smart. She knows how to outsmart us. Or she thinks she does. But she is Kanye’s twin. Same personality, says the same wild things.”
Kim has encouraged North’s creativity, often showing off her art s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s like in this beautiful landscape painting.
Saint West
Chicago West
The SKKN BY KIM founder suffered from placenta accreta during her pregnancies with both North and Saint, so she and West opted to use a surrogate to have their third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, Chicago—a decision that didn’t come easily.
“I hated being pregnant, but as much as I hated it, I still wished I could have done it on my own,” she said in an interview with Elle. “The control is hard at the beginning.”
However, the reality star confirmed surrogacy ended up being a positive experience and the couple’s third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 on Jan. 15, 2018.
