Grimes says she hasn’t seen one of her kids for 5 months in Elon Musk custody battle update

Grimes is locked in a custody battle with the richest man in the world.

The musical artist took to social media last week to share the difficulties of her dispute with Elon Musk over custody of the pair’s 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.

“Spent a year locked in battle in a state with terrible mothers rights having my instagram posts and modeling used as reasons I shouldn’t have my kids and fighting and detaching from the love of my life as he becomes unrecognizable to me,” the singer wrote on the Musk-owned platform X.

Grimes said she had “a fraction of his resources (or iq/ strategy experience), all the while I didn’t see one of my babies for 5 months.”

The “Genesis” singer shares three 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren with the Tesla co-founder: X Æ A-Xii, 4, Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, and Techno Mechanicus, 2.

Grimes trolls paparazzireading Karl Marx’s ‘Communist Manifesto’: ‘I am not a communist’

“This is only what can be said publicly,” her post went on, “since most of my experience these last years should remain behind closed doors.”

The two settled their custody dispute in Texas in August, Business Insider reported, but the status of a countersuit Grimes filed in San Francisco against Musk is unclear.

In his original suit, Musk alleged Grimes was attempting to move proceedings to California to get higher 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 support payments. In a since-deleted tweet Grimes alleged that Musk was not allowing her to see her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren. She filed her countersuit to “establish parental relationship” shortly after. They were both fighting for primary control of decisions involving the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.

Musk has five other 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren: triplets with ex-wife Justine Wilson, and twins with Shivon Zilis, 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 shortly before Grimes’ youngest 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.

Grimes talks her new show‘Alter Ego’ and feeling ‘pressure to be physically beautiful’

USA TODAY has reached out to Musk’s and Grimes’ reps for comment.

For his part, Musk has been busy hobnobbing with heads of state and the future president. The SpaceX founder has quickly become one of President-Elect Donald Trump’s top advisors after pulling out all the stops for a fundraising blitz in the final days of the campaign.

Along with Vivek Ramaswamy, Musk has been tapped to head up a new government agency: the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE for short.

The Wall Street Journal and Axios also reported that Trump invited Musk to join a call with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and to sit in during the cabinet appointment selection process.
