Montero Hill, widely recognized as Lil Nas X, has officially become a homeowner this month. The 21-year-old artist has purchased a stunning 1950s mansion in Sherman Oaks, California, for $2.4 million. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in his life and career.
The property, which has undergone extensive renovations over the past four years, was previously sold for just under $1 million in 2017. It features a beautiful two-car garage and a striking glass front entrance that leads through a waterfall into a serene pond.
Inside, the mansion boasts a spacious great room with wide-plank hardwood floors, separate dining and living areas, and a linear fireplace set into a stone mantel. The all-white ceilings and walls are enhanced by recessed lighting, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The kitchen is equipped with a large island, two ovens, and a wine fridge, making it perfect for entertaining guests.
The main living quarters are connected to a balcony through a wide glass pocket door, offering “unbelievable panoramic views” of the San Fernando Valley skyline. The home includes four bedrooms, each with its own ensuite full bath. Two of these rooms are currently utilized as a gym and an office, while the master bedroom features a private balcony with stunning views, dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a custom-built walk-in closet.
Additionally, the listing mentions a “secret room” within the house. Outside, there is a wooden terrace that faces the skyline, along with an elevated jacuzzi that includes pool and spa components, although there is no swimming pool on the property.
Myles Lewis of Compass represented Lil Nas X in the purchase, while Jeremy Daniels-Stock of Barefoot Realty handled the listing.
