As announced by Forbes on April 4, Francoise Bettencourt Meyers owns a fortune of 80.5 billion USD, ranks first in the group of female billionaires and 11th in the list of the world’s richest billionaires in 2023.
Bettencourt Meyers was đđšđ«đ§ in 1953 in France, the grandson of the founder of L’OrĂ©al – EugĂšne Schueller – and a member of the Board of Directors of the company since 1997. After her mother – Liliane Bettencourt – passed away in September 2017, Bettencourt Meyers became the heir to a huge fortune and started joining the Forbes billionaires list. 2023 is the third year in a row she holds the title of richest woman in the world, thanks to the cosmetics brand’s stock up 12% in the past 12 months.
