MONSTA X’s Minhyuk Discharges and His Group Member’s Weird Behavior

MONSTA X’s Minhyuk is officially back from his military service!

On October 3, Minhyuk was discharged from the military after serving under the 5th Infantry Division recruit training center in Yeoncheon County of Gyeonggi Province.

Reflecting on his time in the military, Minhyuk shared through his agency Starship Entertainment, “During my time in the military, I was able to grow a little more as a person. It was a precious and valuable time in my life. Thanks to MONBEBE’s support, I was able to complete my service in good health, both physically and mentally.”

He continued, “Recently, we celebrated the 9th anniversary of MONBEBE, and even though the hiatus has been long due to the members’ enlistments, I’m incredibly grateful to MONBEBE for always believing in and waiting for us. It has been a great source of strength for me to know that I have a team to return to, thanks to Shownu and Changkyun (I.M) who have held the team together. As you have waited for me for a long time, I will repay you with good news and greet you through a variety of content.”

At 4 p.m. KST on the same day, Minhyuk held a live broadcast on MONSTA X’s official YouTube channel to personally greet fans.

In addition, Minhyuk is gearing up for his “2024 MINHYUK Fan Event <Let’s GO!5rae>” at Yes24 Live Hall on October 6, which will be free for all attendees, making it a special treat for MONBEBE.

To celebrate his return, all members of MONSTA X, including Joohoney, Kihyun, and Hyungwon, who are all currently serving in the military, came together to welcome Minhyuk, sharing group photos on X to commemorate the moment.

Meanwhile, Joohoney is set to be discharged in January, Kihyun in February, and Hyungwon in May.

Welcome back Minhyuk!
