Man captures ‘UFO’ with orange & red ‘rotating lights’ as it silently soars above his home & terrifies his wife

A JAWDROPPING video has captured an object with rotating lights shooting across the sky, and witnesses believe it was a UFO.

The internet was alight with theories after seeing several shocking images of the UFO that blazed across Montana skies.

The sighting was shared in a Reddit thread by the witness who recorded the video while stargazing with his wife in their backyard.

He said looking up at the sky was normal for them, but this particular object made his wife jump in excitement.

At first, she thought it was a shooting star, and urged him to have a look for himself.

The man, whose view was partially obstructed by a tree in his backyard, stood up to get a closer look and was astonished at what he saw.

The rotating, glittery object appeared to be spinning in space, taking up a large portion of the sky.

Despite being miles away, the alleged UFO appeared to be quite large.

The man described the UFO as having “tons of blinking and spinning lights, and a rotating orange/red light on the bottom.”

Despite trying to get the best camera shots he could using his wife’s Android phone, a Galaxy Fold 4, pictures couldn’t do the UFO justice.

On-screen, the UFO appeared as an elongated, shining blue and white line.

Additional angles managed to show the UFO’s orange and red blinking lights, which appeared fiery in the night sky.

According to the man, he and his wife were able to observe the UFO for a few minutes, as it continued to fly away.

Then, “it was just gone,” with no noise or additional fanfare.

Despite having to take the photos at night, which almost always makes it more difficult to capture any subject matter, the man said he was “pleased” with what he managed to get on camera.

He said playing around with the camera’s settings helped capture the UFO, and his second “over-exposed” video was able to “show the lights better” than his first attempt.

The man confirmed that the sighting happened on August 31 in Choteau, Montana, between 10:10 and 10:15 pm local time.

Choteau is a small city in Teton County, with a population of just over 1,700 according to the 2020 census.

The man revealed that after he and his wife went inside their home to take a closer look at their photos and videos, they were both rattled.

“My wife was shaking and crying from the experience,” he shared.

“It was kind of scary, I couldn’t fall asleep until 4 am,” he added.

After sharing his UFO sighting, the man explained that he didn’t “believe this was Starlink.”

Starlink is a satellite internet constellation operated by Starlink Services, LLC, a subsidiary of SpaceX, an aerospace company.

Starlink, he said, appears as a “static line of unchanging lights,” unlike the “rotating” and “blinking” lights he had seen earlier that evening.

Reddit users were quick to share their thoughts on the footage, calling the photos and videos “interesting” and “cool.”

“Really cool footage. Good explanation too. Kudos. Now don’t let them disappear into the abyss,” one user shared.

“Good footage has a way of inexplicably going missing,” they added.

“This could have been the best UFO video ever if the sky was just a little bit lighter. Frustrating, but definitely interesting,” a second user commented.

“If there’s one thing known for sure on this topic, for whatever reason, these things are really bloody hard to capture on photo and video,” a third user wrote.

One user even shared that seeing UFO’s in-person had a “profound effect” on him “mentally and physically.”

“The intense feelings of fear, adrenaline, shock, and awe cannot be underestimated during some encounters/sightings,” the user wrote.

“Whipping out a camera may be extremely far from your mind in the moment,” they revealed.

“I felt that I was hypnotized, even paralyzed to a certain degree,” they added.
