It’s never as perfect as it seems… Netflix has revealed an official trailer for another new murder mystery whodunit series – this one called The Perfect Couple. It’s adapted from the book of the same name written by Elin Hilderbrand, and all of the episodes are directed by the talented Belgian filmmaker Susanne Bier (of Brothers, After the Wedding, Things We Lost in the Fire, Love Is All You Need, A Second Chance) – after making Bird Box in 2018 she has stuck with Netflix. When one lavish wedding ends in disaster before it can even begin – with a body discovered in Nantucket Harbor just hours before the ceremony – everyone in the wedding party is suddenly a suspect. So, who was it…? The Perfect Couple stars Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson, Dakota Fanning, Jack Reynor, Ishaan Khattar, Sam Nivola, Mia Isaac, and Meghann Fahy. Despite this glamorous cast, this seems like it was made by the Netflix algorithm to keep murder mystery addicts hooked on watching more shows.
