According to sources, they broke up in March 2024 but Ben Affleck is “very protective of Jennifer”.
Rumors of the couple’s split peaked in May 2024 after Ben Affleck failed to appear alongside Jennifer Lopez at major red carpet events like the Met Gala, which she co-hosted.
Lopez then added fuel to the fire when she liked an Instagram post about unhealthy relationships. The post read: “You can’t have a relationship with someone who isn’t committed to you.”
Lopez then canceled her This Is Me tour . Page Six reported that she wanted to take time off, “to be with her kids, family and close friends.”
“I am truly heartbroken and devastated to have disappointed you all,” the singer shared and promised to compensate her fans.
In May, a source told Page Six that Ben Affleck had “come to his senses” about his brief marriage to Lopez and wanted to end it.
Ben Affleck has reportedly moved all of his belongings out of their $60 million mansion while his wife is on vacation in Italy. The couple are putting the home up for sale just a year after buying it.
